JOB DESCRIPTION:
Full time commercial automobile property damage adjuster in our Manhattan office.

JOB DUTIES:
1. Taking first reports of claims and general incoming inquiries.
2. Securing statements regarding details of loss with all involved parties.
3. Coverage investigation.
4. Adjuster assignments to inspect damaged vehicles.
5. Investigating and negotiating property damage claims according to New York State Insurance laws.
6. Issuing of claim payments.
7. Identifying subrogation potential.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. Not an entry level position; prior claim handling experience required.
2. Knowledge of New York State automobile insurance laws and regulations.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Excellent negotiation skills.
5. Prior Arbitration experience.
